1. The first thing you need to do is
find a niche you’re interested in not just what is profitable. Here are some of the most popular niches in the market these days.
- Beauty
- E-learning
- Health & Fitness
- Finance
- Entertainment
- Parenting
- Home Decor
- Travel
2. This step is the most important one, you have to find a good high-ticket product or service to promote. What’s a high-ticket product/service? It’s something that allows you to work from an independent location, online, with minimal overhead, fast profits, and recurrent clients. These are my favorite places to find high-ticket products with high gravity and good commissions: Clickbank, ShareAsale & Amazon associates
3. There is no point in starting a business if you don’t study your market first, so the third thing you have to do is target your audience (by age, gender, location, status, values, income, wants, needs, and interests)
Ask yourself:
- How old are they?
- What’s their gender?
- Where do they live?
- What challenges do they have?
- What are their interests?
- What might they be looking for in your content?
- How can you help them overcome their challenges?
- What’s their income?
4. Get a sales funnel, in affiliate marketing, is better to use a sales funnel than a website. A website is perfect for a customer that already wants to buy, but a sales funnel shows the product straightforwardly without distractions, and with a series of reasons why they should buy it if they are hesitant, and that is exactly what we need. The sales funnel that I’ve always used is
click funnels. It has an amazing support team with free lessons on how to use their platform and clear every doubt you might have while using their tools.
5. Get an email autoresponder and save hours and hours of work. When I started I had no idea what it was or how to use it, but I tried
Aweber free plan and it worked like magic, it provides beginner-friendly training and is already connected to click funnels, which makes the process really simple. But if you want to try something different I would recommend you use
Get Response, Sendinblue, and Campaign Monitor.
6. Schedule your posts and avoid headaches. I used to be the person who spend 10 hours in front of a computer waiting for the time to click publish, so for me Tailwind was a game changer. It allows you to schedule Pinterest pins, Instagram posts, stories, Facebook posts, and so much more for free.
7. Now we start with the content you are going to publish. The biggest mistake a content creator could make is uploading content just to hit a deadline, you have to be mindful of the content you create and post, that’s what will make your business different and successful.
a. Create problem-aware content instead of educational content.
I’ve seen amazing results when I implemented this strategy, it not only quadruple my monthly views but my sales took off like crazy. But what exactly is problem-aware content? When you are selling a product your main focus must be your audience's needs and wants, and how to turn that audience into customers. To do that you create content that triggers those needs and shows a solution because people don’t buy unless they see value in it.
8. Building trust with your audience is key. A lot of businesses fail because they don’t care about building a connection between themselves and their audience through what they are offering and creating, so share your personal point of view, your own story, and I can assure you you’ll have so many engaged audience and sales.
9. As the final step, I will recommend getting to know this business in more depth because we only covered the basics. The only course I will always recommend for affiliate marketing is
Dave's sharp 15-day course and its life-changing blueprints, I will always go back and check my notes from this course. It also teaches you how to make money from home, how to start making money with a coaching business, and how to achieve the mindset to succeed. It only costs 7$ and you can have so many
templates, scripts, 1:1 coaching, and a personalized business plan.
